oh hello.haha. Today's sermon was good. haha. let me just share with you =))
pastor hoo was talking about: WHAT CAN WE GIVE HIM?(matthew 2:1-11) haha, well. for Xmas of course. to our daddy God! haha. there are 5 gifts. let's see. in psalm 50:12, God says that if He is hungry, he doesn't need your sacrifice cause the entire world belongs to Him! so, what gifts would be appropriate?
well, the GIFT OF WORSHIP. hmm,sometimes when we sing or pray, do we really mean what we say or sing? or is t just a routine? haha.this struck me and i was asking myself..well.i shd really give it some thought. haha. WORSHIP is a relationship with Jesus. He is looking for REAL worshipers who worship Him inspirit n in truth.
next, theGIFT OF COMMITTMENT. hmm.everytime we do what we promise, we're reminding Him of our love for Him! yea. and committing, it is giving ourselves to Him in a special way. satan will try to make us focus on the physical stuff that gives us temporal pleasures.and make us do whatever we WANT to do, regardless of whether it is right or wrong..BUT when we have a Gift of worship, it will flow into a Gift of committment. it will bring out some things in you that are very personal and precious to Him. next,the GIFT OF GOLD. the wise men brought gold.cause Gold was the gift that befitted a KING.they recognised baby Jesus as the royal ruler. take time to build relatonship with others(;
next,the GIFT OFFRANKINCENSE. incense used in worship. in bringing incense to Jesus, the wise men were admittng tht Jesus was worthy of worship. THIS represents all your inner dreams that no one can take or make it happen BUT God alone.
lastly,the GIFT OFMYRRH. it is a medicinal substance used for healing.they admitted Jesus as the Healer, healer of the world. it rep the area of our lives that hav been bruised, wounded or disappointed.
yupyup.haha, it was an awesome sermon. yepp. anyways, was talkng to josh online ytd night.he;s in SAJC too. AND the reason why i'm putting this online cause i heard the first most positive comment about SAJC from him. haha, three cheers for him! haha!
